I support the Occupation of Wall Street and wish that there was more media attention given to the story, but this photo that I saw on Facebook is a Photoshop fake.

Oh, New Balance MT876OR, what a giant tongue you have!
I was looking for red sneakers, just trying to get out of my usual pattern and red seemed like a good choice. I really loved the construction of the MT876OR but the tongue was too long. I have wide feet, 4E, and the tongue would never stay tucked. I hardly needed these for keeping out debris while out running on the trail, because I don’t run! So it’s original purpose of keeping out debris was never quite useful.
On a related note, I just found out I can return shoes for up to 365 days at onlineshoes.com, who knew! I have a pair of ill fitting New Balance MO1320GT that I’m going to return. This will help subsidize my next purchase. They were a really nice looking shoe but they ran a bit too narrow for my hobbit-like feet!
Our First Cat — ‘Rusty’
Downey and I adopted a cat from the SFSPCA at the start of this new year. His name is Rusty, he is a 10 year old, orange tabby. If you’d like to meet him you can watch his first short video. (Right-click and ‘Save-As’ for best results.)

Cloudmark
Are you having a hard time keeping spam under control? I started using Spamnet from Cloudmark to save me from the drudgery of having to weed out the spam in my inbox every morning. When I first got the program it was catching about 25% of the spam but now, after a few new releases, it's catching almost everything. Today there were 42 emails in my Outlook inbox when I arrived at work. Spamnet got rid of 37 pieces of spam with no false positives and it only missed 2. So far Spamnet has caught 3853 pieces of spam!
